Since a double was what I was drinking at the moment

Thanks to N in Seattle who I thought was being very quiet again but discovered again that it was only my rss reader not pointed to his blog.

We love our espresso maker and burr grinder.

We get our coffee beans at a place that's been in business since 1817. They've recently put a sign on the door that says something along the lines that they only sell beans and ground coffee, that they don't have any to drink/take away. Being almost across the canal from the Anne Frank house they must get a lot of newby tourist who haven't figured out where to go when there's no Starbucks.

We just finished off some organic beans called Barista. Very smooth, no acid taste at all. Now we're working on Paloma. A bit more caffiene in that one. I had two yesterday, and after the second told Patrick not to let me have two today. I was buzzing and bouncing around the place yesterday.

You Are an Espresso

At your best, you are: straight shooting, ambitious, and energetic

At your worst, you are: anxious and high strung

You drink coffee when: anytime you're not sleeping

Your caffeine addiction level: high

First Sunday in July - tomatoes

Finally some hot weather in June, which is what these tomatoes needed to grow. They all are blooming, and seemed to be growing from hour to hour.
